Easy to use: simply fill the carafe with COLD milk and place the lid with the whip onto the jug. After closing the pouring outlet, beat the milk by moving the whip up and down - after plunging the milk about 60-90 times, you will feel the milk getting thicker. Let rest for a minute and the froth will thicken during this time. Could also be microwaved if warm/hot froth is desired.
