| Review: A variety of Gaggia models
introduced in 2006 offer rapid steam and adjustable
dose of espresso. Programmable dosing, with
flowmeter, new switches, touch pad, steam knob and
valve, are interesting features. Unlike the older models,
the new machines will need maintenance discipline with
descaling and cleaning. Before purchasing the machine, one
should make sure of the availability of parts and locate the
nearest service center for reliable and
fast repairs. Espresso machine is a tool. It is as
good and as ineffective as the operator.

Class: Baby Twin offers
Rapid Steam (eliminates the waiting time for steam) and
Pre-infusion function for better extraction of
espresso. An electronic control panel touch-ring
allows to exit pre-infusion feature (It is good feature and
shouldbe in all machines). |

Baby Dose: Electronic programmable dose of
espresso, using the selection button. Press and
hold the “Coffee” button until the desired quantity is in
the cup to memorize the dose you

a basic Baby model - No belles and whistles. The only change
is its look and selection with push buttons instead of rocker
switches. |
| Baby Dosata: Same
as the Baby Dose. Programmable espresso dose is the main
feature with six button selections for single and double
espresso. |

Twin: Baby Twin is fitted
with Rapid Steam function and an electronic control panel
touch-ring. Comes with Pre-infusion function (pump pauses for
a few seconds) to make better quality of espresso.

Cafiza and
