Blind Cup for Back Flushing, Standard size 57 mm

Blind cup is Chrome plated standard size 57 mm. Use for all commercial and semi automatic home models which have solenoid valves (Example: Baby Gaggia, Gaggia Classic Coffee). Do not back flush machines that do not have solenoid valves. For back flushing, replace filter cup with the blind cup. Use 1/2 teaspoonful of Coffee Cleaner (Clearly Coffee or Cafiza) in the blind cup, hook up the filter holder in the machine and make two or three shots of espresso by turning the switch on for 6 to 10 seconds. The pressure builds up in the blind cup and as soon as the switch is turned off, the solenoid valve opens and pressure is released through the drain pipe.
